I gained a Tui Na Diploma from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA). This two year course provided the most comprehensive and rigorous training outside China. It is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

After I graduated I successfully ran the student Tui Na clinic over the summer for 10 weeks with 3 other colleagues. Subsequently, I carried out a six month apprenticeship with Sarah Pritchard at the Blackheath Complementary Health Centre. This unique experience gave me the opportunity to practice Tui Na in conjunction with Acupuncture.

I went onto study a 3 year Acupuncture course at LCTA and gained a BSc (hons) degree. This course has been fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Council and I am a registered acupuncturist with Oxford City Council. In addition, I am of course fully insured to practice Acupuncture and Tui Na.

I have always been interested in health, energy and oriental practices. Experiencing how precious health is and seeing how other cultures live inspired me to study Chinese Medicine and T'ai Chi. I have practiced T'ai Chi and Chi Kung since 1999. I study Yang and Chen Styles, together with Shaolin Nei Gong, Healing Sounds and Wisdom Qi Gong. I am part of the Oxford School of T'ai Chi Ch'uan & Chi Kung and I have been teaching T'ai Chi and Chi Kung since 2005. In 2003 I started Buddhist Meditation in Samatha and Vipassana. Twice a year I go on a Vipassana meditation retreat. Developing mind, body and spiritual health is an essential part of my life personally and as a therapist.
